Hi
O.k im not a big DIY er butttttttt.

Just a quick question ?. Is this bust or is there something i can do ?.

Basically i cut into some slighlty wet timber (very thick ) and it jammed ,i backed off quickly but i noticed there was a slight sign of smoke from motor.

Tried it again and all electrically is fine .But when i switch on and press the button the saw roars into life .All is fine you think but when you actually try to cut it just stops. Its as thougth the circular saw blade has come of its mount .I cant see nothing wrong from outside but i havent gone and looked inside yet.

Is it pointless and bin material or is it worth investigating or is pioneer just cheap as chips B&Q junk and likely to end up like this .

Cheers

Alan

You could have burnt the brushes on the motor out. However it hard to do that on one attempt so it could be te motor. I doubt its worth repairing it to be honest.
