Is it lead (water) chris a leadloc comes in various sizes(weights) plumbcentre do them
Philmac do a range of universal couplers......pipe center has them as do other specialist outlest Chris. They use a cone shaped arrangement to cover say 17-25mm out to 15mm copper, mdpe etc etc. You can get a various sizes.
Thats the ones - universal transition couplings by philmac, haven't used a leadloc 4 ages!

One of those Philmacs is what I thought.
I thought I might nick a bit and incorporate it into my Jacuzzi. Then I could be washed by waters coursing through pipes not used since they were buried by ash in 79AD
Their sewers weren't up to much, hence the stepping stones across the road, which was used for "various" purposes.

Yeah I've been to Pompeii too Chris. Fascinating place. But like everywhere else on the planet there are 'tat' sellers outside. Just makes the place look tacky! Mind you, that's nowt compared to Niagara Falls in Canada. Now we're talking TACKY CITY!
