Hi guys
After some advice on how great PIR's are in garages. Premier elite panel that i installed and programmed myself going on a year now done as EOL wiring. Just getting around to alarming the garage up and pondering best way to do it.
Garage has a side UPVC door and a garage door with no windows except the one in the side door. I was going to just put a mag contact on both doors but wondered about fitting a PIR aswell due to the window and small possibility that someone could access through the roof (rear of garage is roof at chest level due to lay of the land and its quite secluded so i guess its possible someone could remove the tiling and get in......seen it done before!).
If i did fit a PIR in the garage i wondered how susceptible they are to false activation from rodents and spiders inparticularly.....i have a spare texecom pre elite DT PIR......would this dual technology be enough to overcome the false alarm from spiders etc problem.
Thanks
