PIR Wiring Diagram

Hi, Please can someone share a wiring diagram for wiring a PIR to control a light.

What I want to do is wire a PIR to control a light, but also run wiring to a socket so that in the future if I want to remove the PIR the wiring is in place ready to control the lights again.

Do you mean a switch, when you say socket? will this be coming off an existing lighting circuit or the ring main?

Why not just wire to the switch as per a standard light and then to the PIR light, leaving the switch on all the time for the PIR

All I am really looking for is a wiring diagram for a PIR showing junky box, feed and light. Can't find a decent one anywhere and I not sure on the PIR connection into the junky box and PIR.

You will get a wiring diagram with the PIR.
They differ slightly between makes. some have all terminals visible some hide the switched line(live) to the lamp.

However, that is irrelevant as far as fitting a switch is concerned.

A switch is a switch. It doesn't matter what it controls.
