Pitched roof plain tile batten size

Hi im looking to start work on my pitched porch roof tomorrow and have just noticed that the batten size recommended on Marley's website (http://www.marleyeternit.co.uk/roofing/concrete-tiles/plain-tile.aspx) is 25x38mm. I have 19x38mm.

Will this be adequate? or do i need to get the correct 25mm battens?

The roof is roughly 3.8 meters x 2.5 meters

You are good as long as your rafters are under 20" apart.

The rafters are 24.5" apart so I'm guessing they are no good.

Correct.
As said 25mm x 38mm are needed.
