Hi all,
Due to various miss communications I now find myself needing to externally insulate and counterbatten a pitched warm roof (it was meant to be a cold roof but its a long story).
Therefore we have 50mm rigid insulation and 50mm x 38mm counterbattens.
The counter battens obviously need fixing through the insulation to the roof timbers. What fixings do I need to use. Do I have to use these twisted type nails or are normal nails ok assuming I need at least 140mm length and at what centres. I will check with the BCO but need to order stuff so I can get started.
Thanks in advance
