I am looking at changing out our conventional boiler for a Combi.

When we had the drive done a few years ago.....we had JCB incident, which resulted in Transco fitting a plastic pipe inside the existing broken metal service pipe under the drive.

It was mentioned that we would need a new service if we wanted a combi boiler in the future, so now is the time to ask.

Any ideas as to costs for a replacement service? Who do I ask (west mids located)

Regards, Rich

Doesn't sound quite right. I have a 20mm plastic inside an old steel pipe but it operates at a higher pressure before the meter.

shouldnt cost you anything, the supply pipe is not your property
