Folks,

Need some advice.

Having loft converted on my terrace house within PD rights, standard back dormer, am i right in saying no planning fees are involved but have to submit plans to build regs and their fees?

If the works are Permitted Development then no application is necessary. A fee for Building Control is still payable.

Go down the private inspector route.

Go down the local authority route if you're builders are good.

Go down the local authority route if you want the inspector to put up the cost of your dormer by asking the builder for unnecessary things.
