Just discovered that developer of my estate never complied with several planning conditions. Who should have been checking that developer had complied with the conditions and what are the implications. Developer has damaged existing neighbours properties. Do the local planning department not check outline planning paperwork is all there before allowing full permission and development to commence. House is 6 yr old. Will I have a problem selling mine and who will foot the bill if the developer goes bust. We do have a ten year warranty on the house with Zurich.
