Planning permission height question

In relation to a previous post of mine, I came across this.

The planning portal image (attached) shows the max height of the flat / pent roof building to be 2.5m but that is shown to the underside of the roof.

is this correct as the roof could be another 200mm above this.

The diagram is correct. But what are you asking exactly? If you are doing the same yet your proposed height is 200mm higher then no it does not comply.
 
The drawing shows 2.5m to the underside of the roof.

I always thought the max permissible height of any outbuilding within 1m of a boundary was 2.5m. The drawing does not show that.

I'll just stick to the 2.5m overall height then to save myself any potential future hassle
