Planning permission to change bay window to door?

Hi, I live in a 2up 2 down house. I wanted to change the existing bay window to a door. The said window is at the front of the house and less than 2m from the highway. Do i need planning permission for this work? Please advice.

As long as it is a normal house and not divided into flats, then no; but if you ask your LPA they will probably say "yes".
