I have a double glazed window, but the plaster has become cracked and in places fallen off.
The solution seems to be to remove the sealant and then dig out the old plaster and refill. The sealant though is rock hard, and the only method seems to be use a sharp knife and cut it out.

Any helpful suggestions before I start digging in?
