I have an issue with piece of plaster popping its under a plaster nail that hods the plaster board to the ceiling and pops about the size of a 50p piece I have put polyfilla in but as its in the hall way it keeps coming out , what can I do to fix it

When the piece has popped out can you push up on the board and see movement around the head if fixing ,Is it a ceiling under the first floor that gets walked on or under roof joists ?

pva the hole first , wait for it to dry ,then fill it.
