Hi newbie here, i want to replaster a conservatory wall it has a light dash finish and a few cracks around the patio door whats the best way to get a smooth finish and stop the cracks re-appearing without taking the old dash off . thanks
Dot and dab will cover the dash and cracks, and be easy to skim over. A more durable finish would be to address the cracks and render the walls before skimming.
ok you can brush off the old dash then render over it then skim it or just clean off and d&d the walls then skim will be your best bet m8te
was it a outdoor wall ad its now a inside wall
you can use tougt coat backing plaster then skim it as norm m8te
