I'm looking to use plasterboard adhesive to stick 18mm plaster over 25mm plastic surface trunking (https://www.superlecdirect.com/6219...erm=4580840336906636&utm_content=All Products) onto a ground floor solid brick wall. So the plasterboard will stick out more. I will use more adhesive to make sure that the plasterboard will stick properly. Hope this is ok? Do I need to add masonry screws (through plasterboard into brick) to reinforce?

This surface trunking is to allow me to add in 2.5mm2 electric cables for wall sockets in the future which I can do by (knowing where the surface trunking is) thread said cable into the trunking and up behind the plasterboard then up into the void space above the ceiling.

Plasterboard adhesive won't stick plastic trunking very well. Better to use polymer grab like CT1.

Why don't you add cables ready for sockets before you plasterboard?

There's not a lot of trunking per wall (each wall is about 3m wide) say about x3 vertical surface trunking bits at most . I don't think you completely cover the plasterboard rear with adhesive. I'm not adding cables before because I honestly don't know if I'm going to add cables. If I don't no harm done (leave trunking unused) if I do then it's less disruptive as can simply use an existing bit of trunking. Just drill hole in bottom of plasterboard (at end of trunking) then thread cable up behind plasterboard into void space
