Hi all,

As you can see in the above images I decided to go with battening the walls to take plasterboard for our new extension instead of using dot and dab.

Will I need to attach horizontal pieces at the bottom of the walls and across the top of the bifold doors to pickup the plasterboard to prevent it moving or will it be ok as it is, the battens are 400mm centres with extra ones at the edges of all openings.

Thanks
Chris

no , your skirting will beef the bottom up and a skimmed in bead will more than support the corner at the top of the door.
