Plastering above a wood burner

Hi all,
I need to plaster on the underside of a concrete lintel that is directly above (30cm) a wood burner so is going to get pretty hot. I was going to use gypsum plaster with a bit of hydrated lime added. Is this likely to crack? Can anyone recommend a better alternative approach please? Any help gratefully received.

yeah, Rich has good advice for this, but Gypsum in that situation is a no no
