I am plastering for a friend and started today only to find while I was skimming, that parts of the plaster I was applying were quickly drying and flaking off. It dawned on me that he has had a dehumdifier on for the past 3 weeks trying to cure a damp problem. Does anybody know what the best thing is to do in this case? Should the walls be dampened before we attempt it again? Any advise would be gratefully received, thanks!
