A rubbish job, no ther words for it. No beads, trowel marks everywhere, messy workmanship, and the external corner mess,,, overall,,, SHOCKING.

Jesus and I get annoyed when I have to do a little rubbing down after a spreads been. I wouldn't be happy with that in the slightest I hope you haven't paid yet. Whoever did it should be ashamed.

Unfortunately I have paid £460 for this I’ve demanded a refund within two weeks or I will be taking it further feel like I’ve really been taken advantage of because I thought he was a nice guy thanks for all your comments

I know I paid hi but didn’t realise how bad it was at the time thought it would take a while to settle down it’s not until I had another plasterer in that he picked up all the points ie not using the metal edging and tape and as time goes on I’m picking up more things with it I hadn’t a clue about plastering

As the boys say it's a bad job but just as a side note you don't have to use beads I see you have the old ripple effect there where the blades skimmed across at an awkward angle tbh now you have paid him unless he gives you your money back I think you've got it all to do to get it off him you should bill him for the making good that's needed

That's not a plasterer who's touched those walls, or a good diyer! they have some pride / self respect for the work you do.

I used someone last year ago who claimed to be good at most things who i thought would make my life easier, he just couldn't see the finishing problems with the work I pointed out (inc plastering). Though he was invaluable, ended up sacking him and re-doing a lot of it - he cried when he left. I hear he still complains there was nothing wrong with his work standards. Some people think they are pro's and they are not

I'm a keen DIYer, and won't tackle much with plastering (maybe a fireplace) or other small area, as I'm not that good at it.
But... Even I could do better than that and I admit I'm no good at it.
Hope you get it sorted
