I've had to take off the skirting to lower it since we removed the carpet but I'm left with a slight gap if I was to reinstall the skirting. Anyone know what the best type of plastering to use to fill in some space and to have it blend with the current plaster? Would something like jetcem patching plastering work?

Attached an image so you can see some parts aren't plastered low enough

If you’re feeling like doing a bit of plastering, bonding coat, cut back a couple of mm, then multifinish skim.
If not, powdered filler eg. Easifill.
Not heard of the product you mentioned.
