I'm about to fit a plastic tongue and groove ceiling to my bathroom. I've lowered and made a false ceiling 400mm centres and am screwing the panels up. They are 2.5m long, 10mm thick and 250mm wide.
I was just wondering if you need to put silicone or any sealant in the grooves or just fit them together dry. I was just concerned with it being a bathroom and the moisure working it's way round and causing any damp above the false ceiling, or will this not happen?
