I wonder if anyone can help me, please..
Last week, I had an engineer from EonNext come to my home to fit smart meters. During his visit, he managed to break the plastic Facia on the front of my Baxi WM 50/4 RS boiler into three pieces. I have no idea why he even removed this part, as he didn’t need to in order to open the front, but anyway, he broke it..
To add insult to injury, he didn’t say a word about what he had done, but tried to repair it with black insulation tape! Thankfully, I noticed it & challenged him, & he confessed as to what he had done. Totally unprofessional. I have complained to EonNext but they aren’t being helpful.
Does anyone know where I can find a replacement plastic Facia for this boiler, please? I just want it to look as it did before the engineer broke the part. I think it’s now obsolete, as boiler is old. But a second hand one would be fine..

If he's admitted liability then eon need to pay. In terms of the part, do you know the GC number of the boiler? eBay may have one, but one of the others familiar with that boiler might be able to suggest something

Thanks, I’ve looked on eBay, but can’t see anything. The Eon engineer’s manager is saying that the plastic may have already been broken (but it wasn’t, he’s just trying to avoid any responsibility). The Engineer was obviously incompetent & unprofessional, or he wouldn’t have tried to disguise what he had done in the first place. And did he seriously think soft insulation tape would repair something that gets warm? Makes you wonder how he’s got his job..
Anyway, the number you asked about is GC 41-077-49.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Part number 225861

Perhaps set up an ebay alert for "baxi 225861"

You may be waiting for a long time though.

Alternatively, threaten to lodge a case with the small claims court. They may give you some money to go away. You may then be able to commission someone to 3D print one for you.

Baxi spares are stating low stock, if I'm looking at the right thing, so maybe someone has one?
