Was wondering if anyone here had opinions on using plastic parting beads within a sash window?
I obtained the quote below from the Mighton website.

There also also parting beads made from a PVC/woodfibre mix:

Perhaps these do not reduce friction to the same extent?

Mighton’s plastic parting beads hugely reduce friction, allowing sashes to move smoothly and quietly. This helps lessen the rattle associated with older sash windows by providing better fitting parting beads.
