Hi all,

I'm relocating a radiator (or actually changing for new).

I'm using plastic pipe under the floor to run to the new radiator location, can i run the plastic directly into the radiator, or do i have to connect to copper tails?

Cheers,
Iain

No, not essential to connect into copper, you can run the plastic directly into the rad, with the correct insert, copper looks nicer though. :)

All my rads have 10mm BARRIER pipe running from valves to a central manifold.

However I brought the pipes up in the wall and out in the middle of the radiator. Then it runs behind the rad to the valve. Much neater and no holes in the carpet.

Thanks!

All the other radiator pipes have white pipe covers on them, so it probably makes sense that I just use the barrier pipe anyway.

Cheers!
