Hi guys, in the middle of bathroom remodel and the plaster on external facing wall has all blown and crumbling.
Just to double check my thinking, the plan is to hack off the plaster back to brick (1920's mid terrace house, no cavity), batten and then use moisture resistant plasterboard?
Does this sound about right? And what about insulation between battens or damp proof membrane?
The plan is to tile up to windowsill high using fairly large tiles so I did consider using Hardibacker for strength but that seems a bit excessive?
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance!
