Playback problem on Vistron DHR 5006

Can any-one tell me what file format the above accepts please. I have downloaded a Video file from facebook (via Freemake video downloader), and subsequently burnt this to DVD on my PC
This will playback on my PC but not on either of two TVs. Sorry if this is too basic a question but I'm struggling to find an answer.

Probably plays standard AVI files, the one you downloaded was probably a flv file so would need converting unless you use the auto convert feature in firefox download helper.
Had a look at the spec and it's quite old so may not even play avi files, you may have to author files as dvd to them to play on it.
