Hi,

I'm trying to find out if it is possible to lower my conservatory floor level as it is 50mm higher than the rest of the ground floor.

Im not sure what the floor base is made of, its a solid black/grey material, asphalt or concrete maybe? How deep could this layer usually be and could I lower it somehow as I want to put laminate on the whole of the ground floor?

Could I break the top layer of slab up and level it to the level of the adjoining floor?

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

I would think if it were possible it would have been construction level when it was added .
How do exterior levels compare ?

the bench mark for most all new flooring work is the FFL of the next room ie. the threshold.
if the new floor or flooring comes out at too low or too high then its for a constructional reason as suggested above or there's been a cock-up.
why has your conny floor come out that way?
