hello i have just put in a new light in the loft&connected to the light at the top of the stairs. the wires to the old stairs switich are connected the same but when i put the new loft wire into the switch the bedroom lights come on can anyone help please!
you should pick up your supply from the live and neutral, it would appear you have picked up the live and switch wires, but to corect it i would need more info as to what you have and what you added
