Hi, Please can someone help me...... I just looked at my boiler yesterday and noticed that the pressure bar was in between 1 and 2. I thought nothing of it but this morning when I looked again it had dropped to 1. I have been advised to turn it off but as I have a small child it is difficult to do without it. Is there anything I can do about it? I have checked all radiators and there aren't any apparent leaks except for a few wet patches on my kitchen ceiling. Could this be the cause? Is there anything I can do as British Gas can't come out before Monday??? Please help :(

your corect pressure should be around 1 bar when cold and then rise to about 2 when hot. Any leaks from the rad valves etc will be small but will still result in the gauge dropping but no need to turn it off if its above 0.5 and if it does fall fill it back up from an external filling loop or the optiomal internal fill loop if fitted
