I have had a Rayburn 669K Oil fired system installed and the noise from the burner and fan is very loud. It also has a whistling noise from the air intake to the turbo burner. Can this be stopped and can I reduce the burner noise somehow?

I think you might be best to get the fitter back, there could be a couple of things causing this, and he should be able to sort it out as these are normally quiet boilers

It seems to me that the new Rayburn Oil Fired boilers are anything but quiet. The fitter told me the noise levels are normal, he is however trying to eliminate the whistle.
A note to anyone thinking of a new oil fired Rayburn using pressure burners (more efficient I know) try to have a demonstration and listen to the noise they create and you may think again.
