Plumbing in a power shower!

Had a quote to plumb in a power shower , just wondering if this is a bit of a steep price?

The piping is going from the airing cupboard into the loft and then droping down in to the bathroom, i am supplying the pump and mixer. Was told it would take a day and £400 of my money ! Any thoughts and advice would be great.

Without seeing your loft or how long the run is its difficult to tell.

Its only across the hall way about 2 meters max

no, this is not neccasarily expensive, you haven't mentioned, pipework, lagging, fittings etc, these all cost money, i can only assume this installer is supplying all thi, that then doesn't mean he is earning £ 400 pounds for a days work, it sounds reasonable if he he does a good job, do you know this tradesman and how good is his work.
