Plumbing near main fuse box

I suspect the answer will be no but here goes.....
Our main fuse board is in the kitchen store cupboard. We are planning a new kitchen and need to relocate the washing machine (to make better use of available space in what is a small kitchen) into the said cupboard. Do rules and Regs prevent us plumbing the machine in underneath a main fuse box?
Any advice appreciated.

I don't expect you have fuses any more.

Almost certainly a consumer unit with MCBs and hopefully at least one RCD.

No, not a problem at all.

However make sure there is still space for proper access to the fusebox and any other equipment such as the meter.
