I have a very tight isolation valve to supply cold water re my washer and this is fitted just short of the underside of the worktop which means I cannot fit a Y splitter to supply cold water to both my washer and dishwasher. To try and fit this I was looking at a 90 degree elbow 3/4 male to 3/4 female fitting allowing me to fit the Y splitter, but I am concerned re the pressure 24/7 and suitability. I seem to either have the option of a brass hose fitting or a plastic fitting . My other option seemed to be a flexible pipe such as the link for an expansion tank and fitting the Y splitter to that but I don’t know if there is room without kinking this nor if it is a safe and reliable fitting… any suggestions please?

Don't try and fudge things, that's when problem occur longer term especially with heavier duty appliance hoses. Possibly time to get it piped properly so you'll end up with 2 well supported appliance valves, one for each.

+1 for previous advice.

Plastic Y's are best avoided anyway, for the sake of a bit of extra work/expense now, fit 2 Valves, it'll save you a whole world of pain further down the line.
