Dear All

Want some plumbing advice please if that is okay. I currently have the following set up as in the photo

1.5 Kitchen Bowel + Boiler Condensate

I want to attach a dishwasher and washing machine to this.

My builder has stated that a new waste pipe is needed which requires drilling holes into the wall and running pipes outside (tricky as its a 2nd floor flat).

Does anyone have any advice as I would have thought this would have been straight forward to attach couple appliances to the waste!!

Many Thanks

I'd be changing that all about personally, that condensate is a blockage waiting to happen IMO - the McAlpine SSK2 setup is just the thing for that, just cut to suit and take the condensate in vertically.

With the above (McAlpine SSK2) can the boiler condensate fit to the blanking plate. Is there a risk of backflow with all appliances on together ?

Yes, you just extend the blank one up with a little pipe and then fit the condensate onto that. Less liable to backflow with that rather than the horizontal setup you have at the moment.
Does the condensate have an air break further upstream?

Legend. I am hoping there is an air break seeing as this was installed some 6 months ago but I will find out.

The attach is my plan for this.

Thanking you in advance.
