I'm planning to remove a brick wall (not load bearing) and replacing it with a stud wall and a pocket door. I haven't chosen the system yet, I just wanted to check if there is any of them that allows to place cables and heating pipes behind the plasterboard and still have plenty of space for the door to slide in; or do I have to be creative?

If a brick wall is 4" thick plus plaster, and you want to run cables or pipes then you need to make allowances.
Not many people would want a pipe or socket in the area that a door retracts into?

I agree. It all depends on how thick the wall is and how thick the door is, really, but I could seeca 100mm thick wall with a 44mm sluding door having no space at all for services.
