Pointing crazy paving. Opinions on dry mix pointing

Our crazy paving is in need of re-pointing in certain areas & I just read some info on brushing a dry mix into the joints & leaving it to dry through ground moisture etc. I didn't know about this method but it would be a sight easier than with a wet mix.
I'd like to hear anyones opinions/tips on this method.
