Hi,
Having to re-point the house bricks on the exposed side and have managed to match the mortar using a little powdered cement dye.
The wall area is about 5 mtrs long and 1 mtr deep.
If I point along one horizontal row, its about all I can manage in one mortar mix.
The next row being a carefully measured mix should hopefully be a good match, but thought that way might make any colour mismatch stand out.
Wondered if pointing an area say a just 1 mtr long and several rows deep at at time would be better at helping disguise any problems with colour match ?
