Comes with the territory. Just spent 3 days at the Biathlon skiing world championships here, freezing standing in the crowd and all you can smell is the spirits in the air, people sharing flasks. One local skier was joking about there being no other place like it for the smell. Then at the end everyone staggers off to their accomodation across fields and through the woods taking short cuts in knee deep snow.

Weekly old pick up truck came round a few days ago. Scrap metal guy.
I flagged him down- and pointed to a old storage heater I had removed from one of my propeties. He just nodded his head. I spoke to him and he just ummed and arrred.
Couldnt speak a word of english. How the f00k does a pole exist here in UK without speaking our lingo ?
