I AM BUILDING A 20X32 GARAGE, AND HAVE A LOT OF THE 4X8 3" POLY ISO BOARDS TO USE UP. AND I'M NEEDING HELP IN UNDERSTANDING HOW TO USE THEM IN THE BUILDING PROCESS. THE WALL ARE GOING TO BE 2X6 WITH 24" SPACING. AND THE FINAL OUTSIDE LOOK WILL BE SIDING. THE WAY I THINK IT SHOULD BE DONE IS TO PUT OSB BOARD ON THE 2X6 FRAMING, THEN THE POLY ISO BOARD ATTACHED TO THE OSB, THEN A HOME WRAP PAPER, THEN THE SIDING. DOES THIS SOUND RIGHT ? THEN WHAT KIND OF FASTENERS WILL BE GOOD ENGULF TO HOLD THE SIDING ON WITH THE THICK 3" POLY ISO BOARD ?
AND LATER I WILL USE INSULATION ON THE INSIDE AS WELL TO HAVE A GOOD INSULATED BUILDING.
THE POLY ISO BOARD WILL BE USED ON ALL WALLS, THE ROOF, UNDER THE SLAB. AND BATTS IN THE INTERIOR WALLS LATER.
IF THERE IS A PERSON OUT THERE WHO DESIGNS SMALL BUILDING FOR A SMALL FEE I WOULD BE INTERESTED IN TALKING TO YOU. THANKS.
