i have leanto and this is leaking at some joints, i filled with silicone only when first done but it hasnt worked properly , i think it needs some form of plastic strip with maybe silicone underneath along the joins. i also didnt allow much for the thermal expansion 
and it makes some clicking noises when it's hot, will this be a problem if i can do the above plastic strip's with silcone technique ? ,
