polystyrene ceiling tiles

removing my poly ceiling tiles (I didnt fancy my chances with them in a fire) has left me with these lovely holes (and blobs of glue). I will be removing these blobs of glue... but will a few coats of paint hide this or will they all have to be filled (the holes are not deep, but are just the paintwork tearing off the plaster with the glue). Or fill and sand... theres about 50 though

I would fill and snd them and work on the bits between the tiles where the paint has seeped through too..by the time you have done all the prepararion the ceiling may need lining or papering with a blown vinyl anyway.
