Pool pump wiring

I am about to install a new pool pump which comes with a wiring diagram showing U1 and W1 should be connected to the supply.
I've attached a photo of the terminal block. Which terminal should have the live wire connected, U1 or W1.
I phoned the supplier who said it didn't matter, but I wanted to check.
My thought is to connect the live to U1 as that has a brown wire already attached leading to the capacitor.

By convention, U1 is the Live, but is doesn't particularly matter.

Thanks for that, now I can be sure the wiring will be correct, I just hope the plumbing connections don't leak!
