I have a problem with hot water flow to bathroom taps; but the hot flow to the kitchen taps is good. This has led to the boiler continuously shutting down when the hot tap is on in the bathroom.
Initially thought it was a problem with the boiler, however I've had a boiler engineer inspect the boiler and he has confirmed there is no problem with it, it is simply shutting down when the temperature gets too high to protect the boiler.
- The propoerty was stood empty for 12 months, could the pipes become blocked with scale?
- Has anyone experienced this problem?
- Does anyone have any ideas how to rectify without having to re-pipe from boiler to bathroom?
