We have an end N/e gable wall and what is happening is we are getting plaster cracks and popping away from the wall
A number of builders have come along with the phrase "ohh not seen anything like that before", and today a surveyor said exactly the same.
However he has mentioned that the blocks could be prone to iron ore in the concrete, and that the ore is now rusting causing the block to swell and push against the skin of plaster
There are no obvious defects in the outer wall so am just wondering if anybody can give me any more ideas
Really stumped
Added a few images in the hope somebody has any ideas
