So I'm getting a concrete base put down of 4x3m which will have the standard MOT base ect and will be level.

My plan is then a few months later for me to lay some porcelain garden slabs on top with a light screed like I was tiling a wall. Reason being a lot of the prep and labour will have already been done.

Is this a bad idea and anything I should look out for?

You can tile direct to the concrete with external tile adhesive. May be worth adding a slight fall to the concrete base so it's all at the right levels

Thanks , with the concrete being fairly fresh would I need to seal it or would the adhesive be able to work between the concrete and tile ?
