Hi guys,
I hope someone could advise me on some Porcelain paving.
I want to lay a patio area. I have dug the area and layed MOT Type 1 with a 1:60 fall, wackered it all down. Now I have come across mixed reviews. Some lay it on a concrete base, others use a wet morter mix of 6:1 or stronger with a slurry on the back of the slab.
My question is can I lay a PQC (Paving Quality Concrete - Lean concrete mix) over the MOT Type 1 at a depth of about 20mm and lay the tiles on a wet bed over the PQC? Or will 20mm of Lean Concrete do nothing?
Little bit stuck now and any advice would be much appreciated.
