Porch Floor Tiles - What Material?

Hi,

We are looking to get our porch re-tiled and are a bit stuck on what type of tile to go for.
We want more of a stone/rough tile than a shiny/rough one but there seems quite a few types - limestone/sandstone/travertine/slate etc. Is there a best one out of these or is it just a case of chosing which one we like the look of most?

not much difference really, my personal opinion is that limestone looks great if fixed correctly, What is the subtrate of your porch, you also gotta choose the size of tile that suits the size of your porch.
All the stones you mentioned look really nice, remember if you are attempting to do this yourself, seal the tiles before attempting to fix as you dont want to be staining the face, also some natural stone require a white adhesive. some tiles also require back buttering
