This is a single storey annex (are you sitting comfortably?)

to increase the size of the kitchen I am considering building a porch on the front.
Issues.
1. Roof tiles come down pretty low so doubtful if I can blend the porch roof in with the existing tiles. The roof for the LH window was raised to accommodate a taller window, so the small section to the wall is that bit lower.
2. Not sure how deep any foundations, 6 inches of concrete?
3. Single skin block work then render. Plaster on the inside.
4. not sure if I need insulation. 25-50mm of Celotex?
5. There is a step in side the existing porch where the inner door is which would remain because the front door swings over the lower section of tiles so this may look untidy when the old porch studding is removed.
Any comments are most welcome.
