I have a VTOMAN portable storage Battery -

"VTOMAN FlashSpeed 1500 Portable Power"
I tried to run a 700w thermostatic fan heater.
It was fine until it reach the required Temperature, and when the fan click off, the
Battery turned off.
It won't turn on again until you switch it on.
I tried having a radio connected and switched to see if it would stay on to power this
but it won't.
The VTOMAN is very sparse, so I contacted them, but they said it would not work with a thermostatic heater.
I don't know how people get on in caravans and tents if they have to use a heater that is
permanently on??
Any advise will be most appreciated.

I have read the manual but no real help, I have come across this before with a generator where the current used by the mag-mount was not enough to keep the generator switched on, and we had to plug a light (tungsten) in as well to keep the output. On finishing drilling, it would drop off, and when we found out we stopped using that type of generator.

The problem is the inverter uses power even if nothing is using it. So one does not want it to carry on using power once no longer using the output. But there should be a warning, I would not try to run a resistive heater from one, but could well try running the central heating boiler, so switching off is not good.

I would if it would not run my boiler send it back, as no warning that it has this feature.

Will it stay active is the thermostat switches off in less than 30 minutes, this is only reference to auto shut down, so I would say it is faulty.

I contacted Jackery Power Stations:-

"The Jackery Explorer 2000 Plus can work with a thermostatic fan heater. However, you need to ensure that the heater's power requirements do not exceed the power station's capabilities. The Jackery Explorer
2000 Plus has a maximum AC output of 3000W and a surge peak of 6000W, which should be sufficient for most fan heaters.
To prevent the power station from turning off when the heater's thermostat clicks off, you can disable the Energy Saving Mode. This mode is designed to turn off the power station if the connected device's power consumption is below a certain threshold for 12 hours.
To disable this mode, long press the AC Button and the Main Power Button until the Energy Saving Mode icon disappears.
Additionally, you can use the Jackery App to manage and monitor the power station's settings and ensure it stays on as needed."
