I have spent my life in electrical panel design using Autocad, but due to the ups and downs of the manufacturing industry I want to move out of the office into a more practicle role. To that aim I have updated my 16th ed qualification to 17th and will add the part p and test to it in the next few weeks.
What I need is a couple of jobs to show the NICE man so I guess I saying that I will offer my services on the cheap to get experiance from someone who is up to date with practice. Last time I did a rewire I used a bolsters chisel and hammer. I am looking for someone to guide me in the new ways, like what chasing machine to buy, how it works with the council, what test equip is the best etc
I have my own limited company and have Public liabilty insurance which has been established for a couple of years so there will not be any IR35 issues.
I have the theory I just need some good practice to go with it
Anyone who can help me get started?[/b]
